If you can read this…
If you can read this, I have partially succeeded meeting my first “milestone” on this “experiment”. That milestone was basically just reaching the point where enough code had been hacked together to get a very, very minimal blog up and running.
As mentioned on the – well, it is sort of true – old blog, my plan is to continually develop the software this blog is now running on, and also share that code with anyone and everyone. I am currently contemplating whether or not to really open up the flood gates, and allowing people to commit patches straight into the source tree, or whether the patches have to be submitted and then manually applied by myself. I might try out the first approach, but if “all hell breaks loose” so to say, revert to the latter option.
Please do note, that the current version of the blogware, is not properly tested, and I am confident there exists a myriad of bugs and what not; if you manage to come across a bug, or have one or several suggestions or comments, please do share by submitting a comment.
